A Tennis Ball is a ball designed for the sport of tennis. At major sporting events Tennis Balls are a fluorescent yellow, but in recreational play, they can be virtually any color. A fibrous felt that modifies aerodynamic properties cover the ball, and each one has a white curvilinear oval.

To be approved for regulation play, Tennis Balls must conform to certain criteria for size, weight, deformation, and bounce. Due to cheaper labor costs and materials, the majority of Tennis Balls are manufactured in the Far East. Starting from the 1980s, Tennis Balls come in plastic cans with a full-top pull-tab seal and a plastic lid that fit three or four balls per can.
